The Public Square focuses mainly on four broad Programmes:

1. Public Accountability; We organize, rally and leverage public opinion around governance issues at the national level with a key interest in amplifying voices that are both nuanced and marginalized. 

2. Climate Justice and Energy Transition: Cognizant of the fact that Uganda is a signatory of most international climate treaties and accords, there is an evident gap in their local implementation, Public Square employs research based advocacy to highlight these gaps for civic benefit.

3. Civic Education; aspiring to bridge the gap in the quality of civic engagement, we equip young people with the knowledge and skills to meaningfully engage local and national issues, inspiring them to use their voices and talents to create positive change.

4. Entrepreneurship and Innovation; The Public Square brings together a community of startup founders, business, thought leaders, and investors to leverage networks and build synergies that create an enabling environment for business success.
